The One Nation Cup trophys are being handmade at the Bremen Iron Works

The apprentices Marvin Cremanns and Niklas Buggel, both industrial mechanics in their third year of training at ArcelorMittal are working on the trophys for the One Nation Cup. Under the supervision of their instructor Lothar Kahrs, they built a special device to bend the steel into shape.
“It was a complex task. We received a draft made out of cardboard and worked on the trophys on our own responsibility. Bending, polishing and assembling – a lot of time and work goes into each arc.“ says Marvin Cremanns.
„I think it is very good, that our company, being a big employer in the region, supports the One Nation Cup. Our trophys show the globe behing held by four steel arcs, because steel really does connect. That is what the experience every day at ArcelorMittal”, says Niklas Buggel.
